Having already confirmed their promotion to League One, Wrexham eased past Crewe Alexandra in their second-last game of the season. Cannon scored the third goal of the day and his fifth of the season, and after the match, McClean had a special nickname for the 28-year-old as he called him the 'Skint De Bruyne' as revealed in a post-match video shared by the club.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Cannon has been a mainstay for the Red Dragons this season as he has played a total of 34 games for Phil Parkinson's side as they made their way to their second straight promotion. Wrexham are currently placed third in League Two after Mansfield Town's late comeback win against Gillingham.
