The attacking forces of Liverpool and Manchester City have often been talking points when discussing the two Premier League clubs.

Manchester United legend Gary Neville raised an interesting debate during a simple Q&A with fans on Twitter.

One asked the Sky Sports pundit which attacking trio he preferred out of Liverpool and City.

Bearing in mind Neville’s fierce loyalty to United, it would not have been an easy question for him to answer.

However, he did claim that Liverpool’s trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino edges it slightly over City’s charges.

There are not many players within Jurgen Klopp’s squad that come close to the quality of the front three, hence why he rarely rotates them.

For Pep Guardiola, he has a few options to choose from but he generally plays Leroy Sane, Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling.
