Crystal Palace overcame the in-form Burnley by a 3-1 scoreline at Turf Moor on Saturday. A Phil Bardsley own goal and strikes for Michy Batshuayi and Wilfried Zaha secured the points for the Eagles, meanwhile Ashley Barnes could only notch a late consolation for the hosts.

The south London club were extremely deserving of their victory and a number of Roy Hodgson’s men turned in excellent performances. Amongst those to shine was Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The 21-year-old right-back has been a revelation at Selhurst Park this season and produced another display of the highest quality against the Clarets this weekend.

As well as excelling defensively, the England under-21 international was also threatening going forward. As a reward for his endeavours he registered a smart assist for Batshuayi’s goal.
